My grandfather was an avid hunter and subscribed to Outdoor Life, Field and Stream, all the usual hunting and fishing magazines. And needless to say, Mr. Annabel's articles caught my interest, if for no other reason, because of his name. As I grew older I had always planned on trying to contact him to find out if that was his real name or a nom de plume that he used to write his articles. Unfortunately, I never did contact him and now regret not having done so. It would have been so much easier today with the internet.
